Hundreds of residents benefit from artificial limbs

North Imenti MP Rahim Dawood has partnered with Hindu Samaj Meru and an India based NGO Narayan Seva Sansthan to give artificial limbs.

Speaking during the Camp Dawood said the project will benefit hundreds of people abled differently.

“I’m proud to share that, through the collaboration of Narayan and Meru Hindu Samaj, we’ve changed hundreds of lives with artificial limbs. Imagine the joy of walking, running, and embracing life. This journey embodies compassion, dedication, and hope,” MP Dawood added.

Once the amputee gets the limb, he said, with some of them being breadwinners in their families, they will be able to run their daily chores to earn a living and relieve other family members who they depend on for mobility.

“Our mission doesn’t stop here. We’re committed to continuing this journey by providing ongoing support to those in need of artificial limbs. We’ll work tirelessly to ensure that every individual who requires these life-changing prosthetics receives them, enabling them to lead more fulfilling lives,” Mr Dawood said

Dawood appealed to other well-wishers and those who could donate anything for the success of such camps to join them in order to benefit more people.
