Meru County has sworn in its new County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) under the leadership of Governor Isaac Mutuma.

The governor emphasized regional balance by appointing executives from each of the nine constituencies in the county. The team represents a diverse range of expertise and is expected to drive development in Meru County. The new (CECMs) include:

Isaac Kinoti Marete – Lands, Physical Planning, Urban Development, Housing, and Public Works.

CPA Monica Kaithiori Kathono – Finance and Economic Planning.

Dr. Dennis Muriungi Mugambi – Health Services.

Reverend Carol Karea Kaberia – Trade, Tourism, and Cooperatives.

Dr. Esther Rukunga – Education, Science, Culture, and Arts.

Advocate Baptista Kanyaru Muriki – Water, Irrigation, Environment, and Climate Change.

Elias Murega – Youth, Sports, Gender, and Social Development.

Janaro Gatangugi – Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries.

David Baariu – Roads, Transport, and Energy
