According to officials, the deployment will include traffic police, regular police units, and specialized teams tasked with crowd control and emergency response. Authorities say the operation aims to maintain smooth traffic flow and prevent disruptions as thousands of spectators are expected to flock to Naivasha for the globally recognized rally.
The World Rally Championship event has become one of Kenya’s biggest sporting attractions, drawing both local and international fans. Organizers are urging spectators to follow safety guidelines, use designated viewing areas, and cooperate with security officers throughout the four-day event.
Motorists traveling to Naivasha during the rally period have also been advised to plan their journeys early, as some roads will experience temporary closures or diversions to facilitate rally stages.
