Meru Senator Kathuri Murungi has defended the Kenya Kwanza administration and called on residents to exercise patience.
Kathrui sais solutions to challenges facing Meru residents especially stalled road projects and revival of Kenyan economy can only be addressed if leaders and residents remain supportive to the government and it’s principles President William Samoei Ruto and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki.
Kathuri exuded confidence that before 2027, many projects will have been implemented to completion.
Kathuri hailed praises to President Ruto for uplifting and upgrading of Meru Referral Hospital to Level 6 noting that this will make health services efficient and effective.

“This is not campaign season; it is time to deliver on the promises made to the people. Leadership goes beyond political rallies and election slogans; it is about rolling up our sleeves and working every day to improve lives,” he said.
He said there are several development projects the national government is carrying out in Meru only that people are emotional judging Ruto’s administration before their tenure is over.
Kathuri said the true measure of leadership lies in service delivery not speeches adding that people of Meru and Kenya at large deserve development and accountability, not endless politicking.
Senator Kathuri has condemned destructive demonstrations saying this Country can be fixed without breaking it.
“If you demonstrate peacefully, you are exercising your constitutional right.
But if you destroy property, you stop being a protester, you become a criminal. Destroying shops, looting, burning vehicles, or vandalizing public property is a crime not activism,” Kathuri said.
