FKF Eastern Regional League - Awakening Lions FC secured a win against Al Towba FC thrashing them 4-0 at the Mbwiru Primary School Grounds.
The victory takes Awakening Lions FC to 26 points, opening a 3-point lead over second-place Grevys Zebra ahead of the CI derby when they take on Eriani Hotspurs Chuka on Sunday.
Ben Jr scored the opening goal in minute 15 of the first half with Ambrose alias Jungle and Davidson Muthomi aka Gasori adding to the scoreline in minutes 25 and 39 respectively.
Ben Jr completed his brace in minute 80 to seal a commanding 4 goals to nil against the visiting Al Towba FC.
Gasori leads the scorers’ board on five goals with Ben Jr following closely on four for Awakening Lions FC.
